I have found over the years that Ham Radio operators are unselfish individuals that would go out of their way to help others in their community. This is the "spirit" of ham radio that I have grown to appreciate. In this spirit, I decided to apply the knowledge I have acquired over the years working with computers to help others by creating the Fort Wayne Amateur Radio Internet Gateway (FWARig). This is my way of giving back to the community of Amateur Radio Operators what they have so graciously given to me.

The first service details a procedure to request the sysops to manually forward e-mail between the Internet and Packet Radio. The second service details the BBS export files maintained by FWARig for other packet radio sysops to download periodically to populate their BBS with current packet radio bulletins.
• HF Gateway - Describes the HF forwarding port used to move personal Packet Radio messages across the USA
